We got up Friday (September 16, 2016) morning and took my mom all over for her birthday. Our first stop was Yorktown to check out the monument and the beach.
After a fun morning at the beach, we headed across the bridge to Gloucester to have lunch with some of my mom’s friends.
While there, I saw this really cool art deco movie theater:
After lunch, we drove up to Williamsburg where we visited two breweries: Alewerks and Brass Cannon Brewing Co.
After beer tasting, we headed back to Yorktown where we met my dad and grandfather for dinner at the Yorktown Pub. After dinner, we had fun experimenting with nighttime photography.
Then it was home to bed. We had a full day and still had several more to go before flying back to Denver!
